Manowce Palace

The Manowce Palace at Trzebieradz was designed by Theodor Bless and built at the beginning of the 20th century in the neoclassical style. It was known as Haffhorst prior to 1945. It is very private, located in deciduous forest on the shore of the Baltic Sea. The palace has an appealing mix of old and new, filled with beautiful antiques and paintings but with modern touches such as Wi-Fi access, fully equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds.

The palace offers exclusive enjoyment. They host weddings, private celebrations and corporate meetings. When you book an event at Manowce, you have the whole place to yourself, with access to enchanting gardens, and the palace can provide all manner of processional support - banqueting, sports activities, filming, entertainment, etc.

If you want to continue on into the evening, thirteen double bedrooms and three apartments offer a comfortable alternative to an arduous journey home after a busy day. If you want to entertain your team during the day, then along with swimming in the bay and mushrooming in the woods, they can enjoy kayaking, fishing or cycling, and the Palace can organise activities such as horse riding, sailing, and shooting.

Manowce will be pleased to cater for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks. Manowce chefs will plan a menu to match both the occasion and your guests, to make it a special day for you. And should you wish your event to transform from flip charts and figures to drinks after dinner, thenyou can wind down in Manowce salons with a cold beer or a glass of wine, or round off the evening on the dance floor.

Weddings

Manowce is licensed for civil ceremonies and we hold humanist weddings, but of course we are also happy to host the reception only. For foreign couples, we can handle all the paperwork and get the necessary permissions from local authorities and churches for them to legally marry in Poland. We can arrange wedding ceremonies for all denominations and religions. Manowce is open to all wedding planning options. You can use our in-house wedding coordinator or we can recommend a local wedding planner who knows local suppliers. You may also choose a home-based planner who will cooperate with our in-house coordinator.

Couples can choose one of our wedding packages or can customize them as they like. Each package includes the most essential services and a shuttle for the couple and guests from and to Berlin airports. The package does not cover lodging, as guests usually pay for their accommodation. Manowce welcomes weddings of all types and sizes. These can be large parties outdoors for up to 100 guests, or wedding receptions for two, just the eloping couple. Whatever the size of the wedding, Manowce always offers its services on an exclusive-use basis. The wedding reception can take place indoors in the historic Great Hall or – in summer – outdoors in a marquee situated close to the shore of the lagoon. For marquee weddings, the Great Hall can serve as the backup location, should it rain heavily on the big day. If the couple likes, we can infuse the wedding with Polish music, dance, food and wedding customs. We can serve pierogi, Polish dumplings. On arriving at the reception party, the newlyweds may be greeted by their parents with a huge loaf of bread, salt and two vodka shots.

Destination weddings often turn into a little holiday for the guests. If you’re looking to entertain yourselves and your guests during the day, then along with swimming in the bay and mushrooming in the woods, Manowce can organise activities such as kayaking, sailing, fishing, cycling, golf, horse riding and shooting.

Private Celebrations

Manowce is truly the perfect venue for your private function. Whether you’re planning a wedding anniversary or simply a family get-together, the palace's events team is on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly from the moment you make your booking. Manowce chefs will plan a menu to perfectly match both the occasion and your guests to make it a special day for you. These are just some of the events hosted at Manowce.:

Manowce can accommodate parties of 30 to 50 people inside the palace, or 50 to 100 guests in a marquee in the gardens. For this special day, you will have total privacy and the exclusive use of the grounds and – for indoor events – the upper-ground floor of the palace. The property is available for your celebration from 12pm (noon) until 8pm. As a rule, Manowce does not offer accommodation to party guests.

Prices depend on the month of the year and the day of the week. Minimum total prices apply. Manowce can prepare a quote once they know the proposed date and the number of guests.

Holidays

Bring your friends and family for a retreat to a place where the waters meet the woods. At Manowce, you can sunbathe on the private shore of the lagoon, swim in the bay and hunt for mushrooms in the woods, and you will have complimentary use of our kayaks, fishing boat with rods, and bicycles. You can also enjoy our bio sauna free of charge. Other activities, such as horse riding and shooting, can be arranged for you.

Manowce offers three stunning, luxurious apartments and thirteen double bedrooms, accommodating up to thirty-three guests in total, or forty-two including sofa beds and extra beds in some rooms. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and large televisions, and there is Wi-Fi access throughout.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Manowce is one of the very few five-star locations in this part of Europe where you can hire the property for exclusive holiday use. Exclusive means that there will be no other guests during your stay (however, part of the villa is a private home). We will be pleased to accommodate you for a week or two from June to September, and to cater for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. We do not just offer a luxury villa for hire; we also provide your group with a personal English- and German-speaking assistant who is available onsite every day during the day.

The minimum group size for the exclusive holiday hire is fifteen adults or children aged over twelve, and the minimum stay is seven days. The charge is 200 euros per person per day. Discounts for kids apply. The charge includes accommodation in guest rooms. There are additional charges for suites.

INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS

We welcome all holiday bookings for July and August. Our holiday price includes the room and breakfast, as well as complimentary use of all the onsite facilities, equipment and common spaces offered to our guests. At Manowce you can also enjoy lunch and dinner and various drinks, which are served at our à la carte prices.

The bedroom rates are from 100 to 150 euros per room per night for single use, and from 150 to 200 euros per room per night for double occupancy. The suites cost from 200 to 350 euros per room per night for single use, and from 350 to 500 euros per room per night for double occupancy. Extra beds incur additional charges.

Activities

Activities range from swimming in the bay and mushrooming in the woods, to enjoying kayaking, fishing or cycling. Manowce can organise activities such as horse riding, sailing, and shooting.

If you love outdoor activities like sailing, fishing, bird watching, hunting, golf and more, Manowce is the ideal place to stay while you enjoy your next adventure. The palace is located on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, from which you can reach the open waters of the Baltic Sea in half an hour by motorboat, so sailing and rod-fishing enthusiasts can enjoy both the bay and the sea. For hunters, tere are extensive woods surround Manowce, rich with red deer, roe deer, fallow deer, wild boar and other game. If you are a golfer, then with an hour’s journey by car or motorboat you can reach six eighteen-hole golf courses, three in Poland and three in Germany.

The palace works with specialist international destination managers who organize groups for such activities, but Manowce also welcome self-organized groups. Local partners can organize everything that you need. The palace will be pleased to accommodate you for a week or two, and to cater for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, unless you prefer self-catering.

Location

Manowce, just 45 minutes from Szczecin (Stettin) and 2.5 hours from Berlin and its airports, is a private and distraction-free setting. You won’t find many other venues like Manowce.

The palace is surrounded by vast woods and lies on the shore of a large bay next to the Baltic Sea, far from residential areas. There is unlimited free parking.

Accommodation

From bridal and executive suites to comfortable bedrooms, the accommodation boasts original features and is designed with luxury in mind. Manowce offers three stunning, sumptuous apartments and thirteen double bedrooms, accommodating up to thirty-three guests in total, or forty-two including sofa beds and extra beds in some rooms. MASTER SUITE
The palace offers this apartment as the bridal suite and to the most prominent corporate guests. Beautifully appointed, historic and comfortable, the bedroom and the living room offer a sense of space and opulence, with a super-king-size bed, antique dressing tables and comfortable contemporary sofas. A private terrace affords beautiful garden views. All the usual amenities are here too, including an en-suite bathroom, TV, tea- and coffee-making facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi.

PALACE BEDROOMS
Situated on the second floor of the palace, these atmospheric double rooms are rich in modern comfort and historic period features like antique wardrobes. The super-king bed can be twinned to accommodate two colleagues from the same company. These rooms come in different shapes and sizes, but all offer a touch of luxury along with the usual amenities, including an en-suite bathroom, large television and complimentary Wi-Fi.

ANNEX BEDROOMS
On the first floor of the historic annex to the palace building there are seven contemporary rooms with double beds that can be twinned to accommodate two colleagues from the same company. Because part of this building was a stable, Manowce has maintained the rustic style of the interiors. The rooms offer all the usual amenities, including TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Some of these rooms have wonderful views to the bay, just 50 metres away.

Filming

With its elegant architecture, stunning interiors and scenic location, Manowce is an exceptional venue for shooting films and photos. The building was designed in the neo-classical style, with wonderful portico and wall decorations. Interiors are filled with beautiful antiques and paintings and 200-year-old tiled stoves, but also first-class contemporary furniture by Minotti, B&B Italia and SieMatic. The exterior is equally photogenic, with gardens, a fountain and parkland. Views of the vast Szczecin Lagoon waters cannot be matched.

Situated close to Berlin and its airports, Manowce is easy to reach, whether your film crew and talent are coming from near or far. The palace offers on-site catering, plenty of parking and bedrooms to accommodate up to 35 people of your cast and crew. For the remaining staff the palace can organize hotel accommodation in Szczecin as well as comfortable transportation for the 45-minute journey.
